While also becoming better people along the way."
In 2018 Cole self funded and started Core Energy Group, a solar installation company that grew to over 500 employees and after 6 years acting as the CEO, Core Energy was sold to SunPower in the summer of 2014. At SunPower Cole worked daily with famous Silicon Valley Billionaire and CEO TJ Rogers who has worked over 36 years running a public company CEO. “TJ taught me how to most effectively run a public company, how to raise capital, as well as how to effectively run a large organization. I’ll be forever Grateful to TJ and Valeta Rogers for their mentorship.”
Cole’s latest venture is developing solar projects in East Africa in communities where energy development is greatly needed.

Outside of business Cole enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth and high school sports, fly fishing, and supporting Utah State in athletics. Cole also enjoys serving in his local community as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
